Description

Hello, the Ajax Comments module doesn't work properly with ReCAPTCHA.
If you click on "preview", first you will see Ajax Comment working (i. e. its overlay appears) and then you'll get a new blank page ...
I'd be glad if this could be fixed.

To work around this problem in the meantime, is it possible to disable Ajax Comments for anonymous users?

I'm afraid, that there is no workaround for this time, but I'll work on reCaptcha support before next release (maybe even next week).

Hi Neochief,

I'm having this problem in 5.x.
Any update or ETA on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but 5.x will be definatelly not fixed. It's support is closed. But if it's critical for you, you may try to fix it by yourself and post your patch here.

Have marked http://drupal.org/node/483750 as a duplicate of this issue.

Would be really nice to either:

- have this working
- disable the module for anonymous users

Has anyone had any luck?

Yes, we have a dev who went a long way towards implementing that; will check with him and get the work's status.

FYI...
Image captcha works .. just not recaptcha...
...so u should at least be using that on ajax comment forms until there is support for recaptcha .. the captcha module lets you select different methods for different areas anyhow .. so its an easy work around... just set image captcha for comments.
