I'd like to have an "attach picasa album" option so the user can add his photo or galleries to other content types, like classified ads for example.

There may already be a way of doing that, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Also a "choose this picasa photo for your user picture" feature. yes yes yes

Hi ... I think that because each album and photo is stored as a node in Drupal that you could utilize cck's nodereference to attach the image or album to a node. I haven't actually tried it yet but might be something worth looking into. This could work in the same fashion for profiles depending on if your using a module that bypasses core profile and uses nodes instead. I think one of the things that needs to be focused on is providing some way to specify the size of the image that eventually gets displayed in these circumstances. Because there are other workarounds that would allow you to accomplish what you are describing I'm going to close this issue. Thanks!
