as you can guess from the title i was wondering whether you can provide compatibility for drupal 5.....thank u

I was going to ask the same, then saw this issue http://drupal.org/node/307031 Seems it's for D6 only, which is fair enough.
Will just have to figure out what is meant by using the iframe-tag

Have just seen the insertFrame module (http://drupal.org/project/insertFrame) which works fine with D5

the insertFrame module (http://drupal.org/project/insertFrame) seems a good alternative too.
