Getting Javascript code instead of tags

After following the readme and installing the module, and placing the widget inline or as a tab, I get a ton of tags listed but they are javascript, not real tags.

the first one is

if (this == window) { throw new TypeError; } this[this.length] = item; }

Then I get about 30-50 more of these.
