Is there any better modules for the Drupal 6.X setting issue?

http://drupal.org/project/blockcache -- no longer needed in D6 (included in core)
http://drupal.org/project/dapi -- not sure, not a common module
http://drupal.org/project/dbfm -- not sure, not a common module
http://drupal.org/project/Acidfree -- this is "never" complete, so I wouldn't wait. There are many other gallery options now.
http://drupal.org/project/ed_classified -- there's a dev version you should try. Test it and help it get released sooner.
http://drupal.org/project/file_import -- check Media Mover
http://drupal.org/project/pagearray -- don't know
http://drupal.org/project/video -- Filefield paired with jQuery Media or SWFTools (see my guide).
http://drupal.org/project/dbfmgreybox -- don't know
http://drupal.org/project/formfilter -- help test the dev version

With some modules, if they are more esoteric and less commonly needed by the general community, you may need to do some extra helping on your end to get them upgraded... such as testing patches, testing the dev version or alphas, etc. Or if it is a really rare module you may have to raise funds to have it upgraded. Some all-in-one modules like Video, which are designed in the more Drupal 4 mentality, are not likely to be upgraded quickly, and eventually are going to die out (there are already many other more flexible methods for video in Drupal).

dbfm, dapi and dbfmgreybox -

rooey - June 7, 2009 - 01:35

dbfm, dapi and dbfmgreybox - none will function on v6 at this time. Tho that doesn't matter because they're all add-ons for the same application (DBFM)

Dapi should be very easy to port - DBFMgreybox will probably be dropped, but that doesn't really matter... DBFM is a whole different kettle of fish.

We're not sure if we're going to port that to 6 or jump straight ahead to 7.
