Upgrading to 6.x and new userpoints_nc module [#376398]

Greetings,

I've tried finding information on this, without success, please forgive me if this has been addressed earlier.

Since userpoints_basic is separate in the 6.x branch, when upgrading to the 6.x branch does anything need to be done differently during the upgrade process since what was one module is now two modules? In other words, can I just upagrade userpoints and then add the userpoints_nc module? Or does userpoints_nc module need to be added prior to upgrading userpoints? Or does it matter at all in what sequence the upgrade is performed?

The sequence does not matter, as long as no one performs actions that award or revoke points in the middle of the upgrade.

So, if you have your site in offline mode, you should be safe.

To be more sure, make sure that after you upgrade you visit userpoints settings, and review the settings for userpoints_nc and that the number of points are the same as they were before for each type/action.
