Description

I have a view displaying several image fields, filtered to a single node ID. Is it possible to rotate through these or can you only rotate through nodes?

i have the same set up, with multiple cck imagefield images per node, and i set up my view to display the imagefields from that content type.
i added the filter so that it only picks up nodes that are promoted to the front page.
works great.
cycles through all the images for every node that meets the filter.
and if you add the global random sort, it displays the images in random order, not grouped by the node they are in.

hi there,

need help on this one:

have I got this right: you can cycle through the images attached to ONE node ...

i tried, but in the rotator view all images of that one specific node are shown in a row - i can't cycle through them one by one

can anybody give me a how to for the needed settings to accomplish this!?

THANKS

Are your problems solved now?

I have a slightly different use-case, but still fits under the same heading:

I would like to rotate only the images in a node - not the other fields which I've also selected. Currently I have a test view setup where I've selected the following fields: title, body and imagefield and it is displayed in a block. There are two issues:
- I have to set "Items to display" to multiple - otherwise only one image will show up (I'd really like to limit it to one node, but still rotate through all the images attached to that node)
- If there is only one node matching the filters, the images and the title/body rotates (i.e. fade in/out) - but the text is the same - ideally only the images should rotate in this case.

This might warrant a new thread/feature request - I think, however, it lines up with what freatida meant in the original post.
