http://drupal.org/project/Modules

The list of modules above, sprawls over 300+ pages. I often know the module name I want to visit, but not the URL.

It would be useful to have a single page showing a bulleted list of module titles only, perhaps in 2 or 3 columns (ie. no teaser text). Then I could Browser-search the page for the keyword I want.

We have one: http://drupal.org/node/206666

There used to be a link to this on the module browsing pages, but it was lost in the d.o upgrade. I'll re-add it (I just have to run now).

Spot on, just what I was looking for.

I am also confused by how you access modules now. when I search for a module name the titles seem not to be prioritized before the body text... as a consequence the module I was looking for is many clicks away... is there something that can be done about this?
