aron novakWell, let me show here the description of a checkbox:
"Check if you want to use this content type for downloading feeds to your site."
So do not turn on "Is a feed content type" for that content-types for that you'd like to generate the content into.
If you want news items as Stories, do not turn on that checkbox for Story!

akahn commentedHey Aron,
I also found the "is a feed content type" vs. "node type for feed items" confusing initially. Would there be some way to rework the naming used for these options that make it more clear to new users what each is for? Or perhaps it would help if it is spelled out in documentation that "is a feed content type" means you use that content type for providing a feed URL, whose contents are then created as nodes (if using the node processor) of another content type specified in "node type for feed items." Your thoughts?
Cheers,
Alex
