Right now you can import a whole csv file of users and choose the role to assign them.

In my imported csv, I have few fields (Yes/no) that I want to translate to the roles. It would be cool if I could choose a yes/no field to delineate a role so I don't have to create different csv's for different roles.

does that make sense?

That's too specific to your website, it would be difficult to implement that as a generalised solution.

Best thing to do is do the filtering in Excel then export seperate csv files for each role.
