In Safari, the login window does not resize to accommodate content and is not resizable - as a result, the user fields for email address and password are not visible.
I would classify this as critical insofar as it makes it unusable for Mac users unless they decide to use Firefox specifically for FB Connect.

randallknutson commentedWhen I use Safari on windows to test the popup window resizes correctly.

bcobin commentedWell, I'll be darned - Safari on PC? What is this world coming to?
In any event, I'm on a Mac, as I suspect most Safari users will be - using version 3.2.1.
Hmm... just checked it again and it seems OK, although this was reproducible yesterday. I was working pretty heavy on the site yesterday and perhaps I had some bad data in there - let's chalk it up to temporary browser weirdness on my part with my apologies for sending anyone down the wrong path here. I'll close the ticket and check more carefully should this arise again - with the java conflicts, that's entirely possible. Thanks for checking!

LaNets commentedHello, I have also seen this bug recently, it seems that Facebook made some changes in their API.
This pop up is managed by Facebook, now the problem seems to be resolved.

nsputnik commentedI am still seeing this bug on Safari 4 beta on Mac. I am getting this error.
The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL (http://mysite.com/modules/fbconnect/xd_receiver.html#fname=_opener&%7B%2...) must have the application's Connect URL (http://www.mysite.com/) as a prefix. You can configure the Connect URL in the Application Settings Editor.
At this time, here: http://drupal.org/project/fbconnect the newest version of this module is 2009-Feb-27.

nsputnik commentedOk, it looks like my problem does not have anything to do with Safari, but whether or not you have a www in the Connect URL. Mine works when I take www out.
