Trigger warning after file of image upload

Issue Summary

I have a cck form with an imagefield upload field. NEP does not give a warning after an image upload if the form is not saved. Is there a way to achieve this?

Doesn't work with filefield either. If I upload an image to a D7 or D6 image field, or a file to a D7 or D6 file field, then navigate away, no alert pops up. Don't know the best way to fix this behavior though.
