my feature request is as the topic says, integration with this module;

So that the users can gain points by sending private messages.

I added integration the the userpoints 2.0 API, which doesn't seem to be available yet for drupal 5.x. so, i'm marking this as "fixed" even though you can't use it yet. when userpoints 2.0 comes out for drupal 5.x, please file a bug if the userpoints integration doesn't work.

I'm using private msg 3.0 and userpoints 3.7 and there's an option to choose how many points a user gets for sending a private msg but it's not working. I don't know if this has something to do with version 3.7 since you mention that it might work with 2.0..

I'm closing old issues since Privatemsg for Drupal 5 is not maintained anymore. I suggest you switch to Drupal 6 if possible, many of the reported issues are probably already resolved there and if not, you're welcome to open a new issue.
