Looking at the features coming with the 6-dev version, I'd much prefer to use 6-dev. I see it's been in dev for a long time. It doesn't have to be super solid for what I'm trying to do, but if you feel it's likely to blow up then maybe I should hold off. Has it grown more stable, or is the following warning from the release notes still holding:

... There are some big changes coming down the line and the -dev version is about to get very unstable.

Either way, look forward to the production release of this version.

-dev is stable as far as big changes go. It's got all the features I want for now. :)

I'm leaving it in -dev for seven days, to see whether there are any bugs, before creating a release. So far, not a single bug has been raised (after five days), but I also have no idea whether anyone's been testing it (us contrib module writers are working in the dark mostly)!

I doubt it will blow up, but there are probably some bugs in the -dev version somewhere. I'd love to think I write perfect code, first-time, with zero bugs, but I doubt that's the case. My advice would be to: test, and if it works for you, use it. If not, raise a bug! :)

Thanks, I'll give it a shot :)
