I currently have my site set up so that user pictures are shown only in comments, and not for regular content nodes. I want to display user pictures in forum nodes. Is it possible to do this without turning user pictures on for all nodes?

Maybe in the theme?
No ideas? Has anybody ever tackled this problem? Is it something that could be edited in the theme rather than in the Drupal engine (seeing as how this is a theme setting anyway)? Better yet, is it possible to have forums use a completely different theme from the rest of my content?
Taxonomy Theme
Sure enough, the Taxonomy Theme module allowed me to do this. I think this is a better solution as it will really allow me to customize the look and feel of the forums.
