When page not found, theme gets crazy!

wildmtsky - February 20, 2009 - 23:29

I created a custom theme and if there is a "page not found" error, the theme gets all weird. Side bars and everything are missing. The page not found text shoots way to the top and not in the content area. I tried to search for this issue in the forums before posting but I am not even sure what to look for. Is there some sort of code in my page.tpl that will make this behave?

Many thanks!

Some hope but it sounds like the patch is not working for some... Hmmm.. Good idea, I may look into it.

The patch works great! Not too much to add and fairly easy to follow. Thanks for the hint!

At the time i didnt think of this

I use it but forgot. Not only does it put the blocks back without hacking core. It also does a search based on URL criteria ( and it available for D5)

Local to live

So I did this patch locally and it worked great. Now have it on live and it refuses to work even though the patch is CLEARLY there. What gives? Did I miss something? Is something hardcoded? I am so confused!

Disregard.. Sorry.. Time to go home. Forgot that I had to check the box! Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
