Creating new field - clicking Add button doesn't correctly redirect user

When I create a new field of any type and click the Add button, it takes me to a white screen that says...

FT:select

Or, if it's a text field, it says textfield, etc. I assume that I should be brought to a screen that allows me to specify parameters for the field type, i.e. the values of the select list, or the default value of the text field or whatever.

After I hit my browser's Back button and refresh the Forms tab, this message appears in a green box...

* Field added.
* Please add options to your field.

I click Edit next to the field I just added, and then I can edit the options.

So, I guess the bug is: after I click Add for a new field, I should be taken to a screen where I can edit the options.
