Title: BUG: Image widget to use when a customer clicks on a product image » Apply image widget to product images in catalog

That's actually by design, though it's not a bad feature request. Those images are supposed to be links to either subcategories or product pages, though I suppose it's worth researching whether or not that's the expected behavior by customers.

The customers behavior look like this:
- I see my customers doesn't know that they can see larger and complete list of images in full page of product. So, after they click Catalog and click the image (which bring the full page) then they are not click the image anymore (because they assume the effect is same!).

So, I think better set the Thickbox effect same, both for list and full page.

Thanks for your quick attention!

Totally agree.

You should put an explaination in full page of product stating "Click on the image to enlarge" or what ever you think suitable.

Marking as "by design" for the reasons stated in #3. The current behavior is how the Catalog was designed to work. Catalog is only meant to contain basic functionality so that Ubercart is immediately usable by someone who doesn't know Views and other advanced Drupal concepts. Theming can be used to customize the Catalog to your needs. The usability issue can be addressed by theming your product page as #3 says, or if you want the catalog images bring up a larger image that can also be done by overriding theme functions. Anything more than this and you probably want to look to Views to implement your own catalog functionality.
