Hi, yes i've searched and read through the previous topics on browser-caching issues but they don't solve my specific issue.. as they mention modifying the .htaccess but mine already has that fix inside it, but the problem is still there.

I'm using Opera 8.5 on Ubuntu Linux 5.04..
Drupal install is 4.6.3 installed using Fantastico

I don't get stale pages on login or logout, but do everywhere else. Particularly annoying considering the forum is a vital part of my drupal install.

The major problem for me here is it caches my admin pages.. so just say I edit my config.. submit it.. go do some other stuff.. come back to the config.. it doesn't show me my edited/changed settings but the original ones..

I've used plenty of other CMS's and never had this issue.. wondering what I can do to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

It is an enervating bug. I'm using Opera 8.5 too and every time I post something or set something on administration pages I must press F5 to refresh them if I want to reedit or review my posts/changes.
It can be easily fixed by sending out to browser 'no-cache' like header commands for pages which contains forms.
When I fix this bug on my site I let you know.

Just a question: does this solution disable caching by browsers and proxies?

EDIT: Preventing all pages from being cached will make your bandwidth usage go through the roof...

I'm not sure, but I can guess it disables caching by browsers for sure and by proxies maybe.
