Asset Module - 2 Usage Questions

Hello, I'm trying to add a Quicktime video to http://mytestanswers.com and place it in the block on the homepage. I've installed the Asset module along with the Asset jQuery Media module. I followed the instructions and have successfully uploaded a video. I have, however, 2 questions now:

1. When I view the node where I uploaded the video, I only see a link. Sure, I can click it and see the video, but was expecting to see the Quicktime player instead. At /admin/settings/asset/defaults - for "mov" under "Full Page", "QuicktimeVideo" is selected rather than link. So I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what's going on there....
2. Also, if the above can be made to show the video player rather than a link, I'm wondering about using the Wizard to upload a video to a block. At /admin/settings/asset, would I add something like: admin/build/block/add/* under "Show on only the listed pages."? Mainly, I'm just wondering if this is possible and how to do it.
