Any progress on a D6 port?

Honestly, I was waiting for someone to sponsor the move, as I don't really have free time to do this but would happily do it "on the clock." I had a couple of leads... will be sure to post back if anything comes through or if I do get the time.

please port it to D6!

I link this to the userpoints thread - i am very hopeful we can fund/sponsor this.

I'd be interested in collaborating on / partially funding an upgrade of this module to D6/UC2. I desperately need a way to give users store credit for cancelled orders.

This module looks like just the thing that we've been searching for. I am anxious to see the port to D6.

Definitely needs a port to D6. Drupal 7 is already in development... drupal 5 is old! LOL

I just contacted http://www.commerceguys.com/ about making a module kinda like this. Funny I should of looked first. My boss is willing to pay to fund this. Depending on how much it is. I'm going to talk to Mike @ commerceguys on Monday. Not sure how much it will cost but I'm happy others could use this as well.
I need it for this new site that's about to go live. http://snoutsdirect.com
We need it so municipalities can have a "credit" with us and we can bill them at the end of the month. So this looks like it would work perfectly! :)

I'm considering using this module as an important part of a project that I have coming up. I did a pretty basic upgrade of the module to D6, just in order to evaluate it and to give a quick demo of it. For my purposes, it seems to be working pretty well in D6 with Ubercart 3. I haven't tested this upgrade thoroughly, and I make no guarantee that this is commit-ready, but hey - it's a start!
Would be great to see a D6 release of the module based on this patch.

I'm keen to see an official D6 release happen. What needs to be done?
#11
As far as I can tell, the patch works. I applied it, made a Drupal 6 branch, and committed the results. I had to tweak the form alter function for the appropriate syntax to add a validate handler to a form in D6. I also addressed an issue related to the User Points integration from another issue. Gonna package it up as a dev release and see what possible improvements get recommended during the Ubercart training when I cover this on Friday.
