Double Signatures Appearing After Input Format Change

I changed the input format from text to filtered html, clicked the "delete embedded" (though had previously done this successfully anyway) and now I have double signatures on every forum post.
Clearly something wrong, but would someone please suggest a manual fix for this as well as record the bug?

Not sure what this signifies but when I change the "per conversation signatures" to just Once, I don't get the double sigs anymore. Change it back to always, and they're back.

Are you using the Advanced Forum module?

Have you switched off the setting: 'Automatically add signatures to content' ? This should be un-checked if you're using Advanced Forum.

I encountered the same issue but couldn't figure out why it happened, This clears it up thanx :)
