Description

I can't find any documentation of the XML spec that Import/Export is looking for (aside from "utf-8" compatible) when importing XML from external files.

Can someone point me to a sample?

In future, please include a sample or two in the tar file.

I, too have been finding similar problems. To date, I've had some success with firstly exporting some nodes, then copying the XML structure of those. Hoping for some better docs in the future, tho.

I to would like to hear some comments from the developer on this. I also know that there are some xml features talked about in 4.7. I ask about this in this thread, http://drupal.org/node/43601 as I'd like to create content in Word 12 or Open Office. Both allow you to import an xml schema to use for content.

... just some cross-references if you're interested.

I made this same request in the context of this issue (never resolved) querying the usefulness of the current data-dump.

And more recently Nax brought it up again and I made my suggestion that a nice result can be obtained using just annotated XHTML.
