Hi
Unitag sounds great with related term support and synoyms.
Can unitag only be used with the core taxonomy?
Currently I a using content taxonomy on D6. Can there be a combination of unitag an content taxonomy?

Zen commentedIf that module does not use core taxonomy, then no.

hefox commentedSorry for opening this issue, but turning it to a feature request.
From looking at the code looks like it could be confirgurable with a few changes with content_taxonomy
Proposed changes
Configurabation by content type+field of field type content_taxonomy widget type content_taxonomy_autocomplete
The Form validate would check on for field/content type, etc.
(Hm, though.. validation, what happens when the form submission fails after validate has run?)

3dloco commentedHello,
Do you know if this could work when enabling the Content Taxonomy storage settings save values additionally to the core taxonomy system? Would Unitag work with these saved terms?
Looks like it would since the terms are saved as any other terms would be saved if handled by the core taxonomy. I'll give a try and advice.
Thanks,
KH

hefox commentedBriefly, from what I looked at in content_taxonomy, no :(. It would have to intercept the values before reaching content taxonomy, I suspect, and those values are stored in fields; ct later then stores then as taxonomy I believe

3dloco commentedOk thanks for your response Hefox! I can confirm it does not work...however, it looks like it might be close to doing so?
Right now, under Content->Taxonomy->Unitag I can see and enable settings for the vocabularies that are being used with Content Taxonomy (with auto complete/freetagging). However, after creating new terms, I really can't see anything under the Manage suggestions tab.
Thanks,
-KH

Zen commentedI'm happy to look at patches. Especially, seeing as to how taxonomy term fields are going to be a part of D7.
