Hello, I need help creating a prettier and more compact layout for a contact form that I'm creating for a client's website. I tried searching all over the Drupal forums, but I don't see any way to do this myself. I'm currently using the Webforms module to create the form. It's a relatively long form. The Form Panel module (http://drupal.org/project/form_panel) seems to be exactly what is needed to customize the Webform, but I don't know how to create the theme code to customize it myself.
I looked at the instructions that come with the Form Panel module and it seems like any competent PHP developer should be able to accomplish this easily.
I can provide the exact form using standard HTML and CSS code. Then I need a developer to convert that into a Drupal Webform using the Form Panel module.

One of the developers that has contacted me asked if the Form Panel module is required. I only suggested to use the Form Panel module because it seems like it already provides about 90% of the functionality I need. However, if anybody has a more efficient and more flexible way to accomplish this task, please suggest it.
And ideally your solution should enable me to add other form fields and update the form's appearance myself when necessary.

I am having the same problem. I am building a drupal 6 site for a chauffeur company, and they want a webform for reserving drivers, pickup/dropoff times and locations, etc..lots of things that need to go on one line. I would like to make a 2-column panel page where I could separate different groups of info fields (i.e. a group for name, email, phone; a group for pickup times and locations/reservation info; a group for selection of type of vehicle and other car-related things, etc).
I know this is a bit of an old thread, but I was wondering if there have been any developments on this.
