Hi All,
I need to create a workflow and I'm a newby with drupal.. I have isntalled the workflow module , created some states (draft , review, publish) assign actions like ( promoting a node t oa different state : draft to review,....) send an email to inform...
But its no working... can somebody guide me in the right direction... do i need a new module?? a tutorial will be really useful. What am I missing.??
pages needs to be created, then reviewed and then approval and published.. but not only new pages.. what if the content is already publish and we need to update it.. I cannot take it offline..
Please help me...

smacphail commentedI think you'll get a better response if you provide some more information? Tell us exactly what you mean by "not working"...what part is not working? It sounds like you installed it fine because you were able to get to the actions and triggers and set things up.
Also make sure you provide what version of Drupal/MySQL/PHP you're running.

I'll explain better and attach some pirnt screen that may help.
I'm using "Workflow 6.x-1.1 "Required by: Workflow access (enabled)

I have created a workflow with two stages. Draft and public.. (Attach). created some actions . ( see attach) and created 2 users , 1 admin with all permissions and 1 authenticated with only access permission and administer node.. just because i want them to be able to update pages. .
I think the actions ar not working.. a user create a page.. its in draft (no published) then an admin goes loging and move it to public state.. but it doesn't get publish???? he has to go a manually publish the page.. even when one of the actions for draft to public is publish the post???
Also... after publish .. teh workflow stop recording the entries o f the authenticated user ... it records everything as it were the admin.

Bastlynn commentedSince this request is over 2 years old and you haven't re-upped it, I'm going to assume you found a solution with Rules or Actions and have moved on. If not, please get updated to the latest versions of all modules and see if things have fixed themselves. If not, open a new ticket and I'll be glad to look at it.
