I quickly searched thinking someone surely mentioned this, but I didn't find anything other then the B-day request.

Figure I'd start with the simplest idea. A yearly recurring event. B-days, Holidays, etc. Items where only the year changes.

Then perhaps a monthly one. Ie. 1st and 15th of the month (paydays).

Then perhaps a weekly one. The weekly staff meeting every Thursday. Intead of having to create an event every week, the event would exist and organizer can just update the "agenda" field for the event.

Already done. Works w/ latest HEAD. I won't be backporting this to 4.6, however, because it uses some features only available in 4.7.
