Description

Hi

Can somebody help me or guide me in how to configure an user with only creation permissions?? Every time that my user creates a page, once he click save it publish the page in the live site. I have reduce all the permission but cannot restrict the publications options.. It’s published or not… but what if it is an update?? If the owner of the page is creating a new version of the content.. And of course doesn’t want to publish immediately.. He wants to create like a draft.. For somebody to review.. or himself?? And then go there again a publish it. Replacing the live version..

How do I configure this.? what do i have to install? or what is wrong with my configurations?

Thanks a lot..
Y

Your question is unrelated to the ACL module and node access in general.

You can define the initial publication status of node per node type.

A node can be either published or unpublished, nothing else. If you enable revisions, Drupal always shows the latest revision. There's no way to create a new revision that is not published and have Drupal display the previous revision.

Please don't post support requests about general topics to issues queues of contributed modules, unless this specifically relates to those modules.
