I don't use it, so I couldn't tell you. But there do seem to be some outstanding bugs.

It was created and maintained for 5 weeks. And for the last 23 weeks, nothing!

Well, I had mentioned the fact that an EVB system would need to be heavily, heavily optimised and in fact shouldn't even load the whole of Drupal for one vote. I talked to PGiro about it at the time, I guess he didn't go that way.

Well, an EVB should be worked out at some point. But as I said, it's anything but easy.

It just needs to be cached properly so php isn't processed for every view.

I think the best approach would be to treat it like a block that can be placed on external sites. It can use d6's built in block caching mechanism.

But we have to concentrate on bugs first. There are 30 open bugs in Drigg right now, and I am sure at least 10 of them are show-stoppers...

I suspect the EVB functionality needs to be rewritten. I wrote an analisys of it, but it will take quite a few hours to make it happen.

Right now I need to focus on bugs -- there are loads right now, and that's not acceptable.

Merc, why not postpone this and mark as feature request. Once 6.x is out you can revisit all postponed feature requests.
