Drupal 6.9 and CiviCRM Integration Help Needed

I have a drupal website set up and running (Drupal 6.9). I installed 2.1.4 CiviCRM module onto the site. The CivicRM appears to be working. However I cannot sync the users FROM Drupal automatically TO the CiviCRM application so that I can send mass emails, mailing lists, and scheduel events etc.

It appears that those that are done manually takes the Drupal Information to the Civi information, however the name field in CiviCRM has the email address in the name field.

I think that there is a setting on permission that is not set properly to allow the Drupal users to be automatically imported into CiviCRM. The documentation for CiviCRM is poorly written or flowing.
