Anyone here familiar with CiviCRM for Drupal?

I have Drupal 6.9 installed and running. I installed the CiviCRM module that has the zip of the CiviCRM civimembers, etc. It also has the sync roles for members and groups.

I am having trouble getting the Drupal users imported to the CiviCRM contacts. Everything points to it being a simple "go to CIVICRM" and then admin, and then sync. But this is not the case for me... It only shows one record, the one I created in CiviMember manually. I have about 50 users that I need to sync, but it doesnt appear to work.

It seems that I had seen somewhere that this was a bug, but there is little documentation on it. Also the imprt that was done had the email addresss in the name field.

This is the single most difficult install I have tried to date. They said it had a high learning curve, they werent kidding.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I think maybe theres some permission or something that I might have overlooked?

you can sync users from within civi

If you go to administer civicrm, you should see a Synchronize Users to Contacts link under manage. this will import all your drupal users as contacts into civi, unless perhaps you don't have the drupal users table ref set up properly? go to global settings and near the bottom is Drupal Integration Settings - make sure that's correct.

You should be able to make your Drupal users get created as Civi contacts automatically on create account in Drupal either through adding a profile to registration or with contribute.
