I've just noticed that the new comment notification does not post counts correctly when emailing users:

Probably a dumb question: what module is sending those emails? Are you using actions? Or Rules maybe?

I don't use the Comment Notify but use the Notify module (http://drupal.org/project/notify). Do you think it is a problem with the Notify module?

Yes it looks like this could be a duplicate of #316234: Alert e-mail doesn't correctly show number of new posts
