I like the looks of this...but it is a lot of work to set up a block of images in the carousel...
Is there a way to, for instance, have an imagefield cck field in a blog entry, have the user submit multiple images in that blog entry and a view_carousel show in the blog entry instead of a list of the images?
this way there is no need to create a view and a block and configure where the block to go, etc, etc...?

This is really just for views. If you want to put the view on a node page check out the views_attach module.
