That's a strange problem. I've tried several modules and I'm able to load the pages just fine.

Strange... hmm... try using Google Chrome or Opera and see if you have the same problem

I tried Internet explorer and I don't have that problem on explorer

I will try chrome later

For some reason Firefox is lagging a lot nowadays. I do most of my Drupal admin work in Chrome now because Firefox is just way slow. It gets better if I disable the plugins, but I don't want to disable them, so...

Anyway, try running something like CC Cleaner and clean out your firefox cache thoroughly and see if that helps.

I've had this Javascript freeaing problem in Firefox since the site was updated to 6. It doesn't seem to be a problem with Safari. The place I noticed if first was browsing the modules. It seems odd that it isn't effecting more people.

I also come across the same problem under Firefox.
(Just re-test and still have the problem).

to make it clear, NOT all pages in drupal.org give me the problem. the problem is in

http://drupal.org/node/206666

whenever i go the that page (download ..list of module..) and select any one of the list out module, my FF browser is locked and ..a few minutes later, i get the message "..script time out ..".

hope some one in do can check what's wrong.

good day.

So hopefully it will get fixed

http://drupal.org/node/390494

That page in particular did crash my firefox browser and I had to restart my laptop because everything froze. I tried opening it on Chrome and IE with no problems, so if you really need to access that page before the issue is fixed, try a different browser from FF.

I've been getting the same problem as well ...

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

FYI FF3.5 seems to have fixed this for me.
