hello all
I'm looking for a simple cms that suits my needs, and I fell in love :) with drupal.
But, i need an effcient, stable content management module and I didn't find any thing like that for drupal.
Any clues ?

Drupal is a content management system in itself. What sort of content are you trying to organize that wouldn't be well-handled by Drupal core and/or flexinode.module?

Do you mean a module within drupal that eases the job of managing content? Try the Views Module:

I wanted to say DOCUMENT mgt module

Drupal is a document management system. You can sort your documents by their categories or into sections, or use the articles.module for another view of your content.

But what did you have in mind?

i'd have to disagree drupal is a great content mgmt system but doesnt have the capabilites of a proper document mgmt system (a html article isn't a document like a pdf or a word file) such as the open source docmgr with some of the modules you can make a start and i'm sure cvs will be closer than 4.6 towards being able to manage documents properly but theres a long way to go yet.

well
1. cms != dms
2. I understood that the drupal project is aware of the need to integrate a good dms (since 2002, but not done yet!), but did the community start to develop smthing, and which one of docMGR or openDocMan would be choosen ?

it certainly doesn't look like much has happened on the document management front for quite a while, although i'm new to drupal myself so am not familiar with the histories or priorities of the project but i think that there are some fundamental things that need to be in core before drupal could even be considered as the framework for document management for example a search enginer that can index documents/attachments, some kind of version control. checkin and checkout functionality etc. so i would start looking at/contributing/feature requests with cvs to see what can be brought into core for 4.7
