Panels and arguments

Hi there,

I don't know if there is a problem with panels or its just me but here is what I am trying to do and its not working..

I create a company node (with some information and its linked to a specific taxonomy)
and I also create another node called "Company Profile" (different node type) and I also linked it to the same specific taxonomy vocabulary).

Now, I created a panel page and what I am trying to do is display content from different node type about the taxonomy vocabulary and its not working, panels just display everything in there...

am I doing it wrong - should it be done a certain way?

is passing argument within panels supported in the version i am using or should i roll back to drupal 5 all together...
