Description
I'm still getting the emails when a user registers but the body of it just says "n/a" in it instead of the user info.
It was working....I think it's odd that it is showing something in the body rather than an error or no email at all.

goto example.com/admin/settings/register_notify and tell me what is listed in "Email Body: *"
Thanks
Robert

!user_name (!user_view) has created account.
Edit user: !user_edit
Delete User: !user_delete
!profile

That is very weird. Just to confirm you are using 6.x-1.10 not 1.9 correct? Also I see I left a watchdog command that dumps the users info into the log what is showing up in the logs?
Thanks
Robert

Yup, all up to date - 6.x-1.10. I was using 1.9 but had upgraded.
I am now thinking it's not this module as it seems to be related to HTML formatted emails sent from the system.
The log...nothing out of the ordinary. No errors, just notices of the new accounts being created successfully...as they are successful, just the emails are buggered up.

If there is a entry for user registration notification with account info then it is likely another module causing the email issue. Can I get a list of modules you have installed that deal with email and/or a list of all modules you have installed so I can tiring and track down witch one doesn't work with my system.
Thanks
Robert

That'd be great if you could - I think it's HTML Mail but I'm not sure.

now currently both the registrant and the admin are getting empty emails.
I'm so confused as to what has gone wrong here...I feel like I am wasting your time as well.
#8
Yea My modules has nothing to do with the registrant email at all that is generated else where so I am going to mark this by design since it isn't being caused by this module.
Thanks
Robert
PS. I would try disabling HTML mail and see if the problem goes away.
#9
I disabled, Mimemail, HTML mail, LoginToboggan & User Register Notify and it's still sending blank emails.
Should I give up? I'm so frustrated.
#10
100% of my emails going out of my site are getting delivered as blanks...that goes for new accounts, password reset requests, invites (invite modules), email a page (print module).
But no errors in the log.
Any idea on where I'd move this post to in order to get some help? I'm lost as to what to do to to resolve this.
#11
1st when you disable the modules do you go and run the uninstall as well? That might help. What is still active on your site?
Thanks
Robert
#12
I didn't look for the uninstall on a few of them. There is no uninstall for HTML Mail.
So I just went now and disabled and uninstalled User Register Notify, Mimemail and LoginTobbaggan ....and no change.
I don't have anything else active that is related to mail...at least I don't think I do. I'm at whits end as to where to go from here....reinstall Drupal?
#13
I don't know what to tell you.
Thanks
Robert

geez - I'm even more confused! I didn't think that was possible.
I disabled all modules (except for the core-Drupal ones of course)...and I installed a fresh Drupal v 6.10....and still the user registration welcome emails are EMPTY (the title is correctly being sent).
Now what?
#15
...but another Drupal site on the same server is sending welcome mails fine...so it can't be the server, can it?
#16
I will move this over the drupal core and see if someone can help you there.
Thanks
Robert

I think this is an issue with 'HTML Mail' now...either that and/or its Mimemail.
I had both of these mentioned modules disabled and I was getting blank emails. I just re-enabled Mimemail and I do get the user registration emails....but it's all on one line.
If I enable HTML Mail module again, the emails don't get set and when the user registers, they are presented with a blank white screen (but the user account is created properly on the back-end).
So I disabled the HTML Mail module again and added some HTML
<br>tags to get the mails working.#18
I'm getting the same issue now. Please mdowsett, if you have any update on the status of your investigation please let me know. This is horrible. I installed htmlmail and mimemail so I'm not sure which is the culprit but I've uninstalled them both and still get blank mail sent out.
I've flipped on mimemail again and I get the follow:
