So I've done this before and now I am lost as to why I cannot assign any taxonomy to my content types. I've disabled all my modules. Some strange thing is happening. Anyone have a clue or want to explain to me how you do assign tax to content types so I can triple check I haven't done something wrong...?

Never mind... I had spent hours thinking it was some module changing the create / edit content type form and every time I looked at the actual Taxonomy to edit it, I was glancing over the quite obvious spot where you select what content types the vocab is for. Nice.

I have installed taxonomy menu and being able to assign a taxonomy to a content type is not possible in D7

In D7, taxonomies are assigned as a term reference field.
