please raise hands whoever tried the pgsql connector supplied with PHP 5.2.8 and succeeded on a Windows machine with the Installer distribution.

php.exe says it cannot load php_pgsql.dll thus the connector doesn't work.

further, Drupal says there's no db connector installed in php (which is true) and i cannot install Drupal.

any hints?

problem solved.
it was because postgres libraries weren't on %path%.
