How about letting users choose a few adsense size to test run and have it monitor clicks so that we can know which type of adsense ad has the best conversion rate? =)

There is no way to do this without violating Google's agreement.

Google tracks the clicks for you, via java script. You cannot track it yourself unless you modify their javascript, which is not something they will allow you to do.

You can do this today with the current adsense module using channels. Assign a channel to each individual ad, and then Google will track it for you. This will get you what you want.
