grey bar above header

This theme is great, one of the best themes I have ever used. So many little things have been given love.

I am only noticing two things that might need attention.

Slogan: likes to float up to just behind logo. A CSS float; left to slogan seems to help it stay.

The other is a grey bar - please see attached - not sure where it is coming from. Random apperance. Appears top of page.
