I set this up and enabled it, gave permissions to all roles too but nothing changed.
I have Avatar Selection installed as well. Perhaps they can't work together?

I was trying to find out how I could get to the crop screen (a really basic documentation, at least, would be helpful)... trying to see if it would automatically show up as I selected a file or if there was a menu item for this (hoped not).

Anyway, finally I found out that with the module installed, avatar selection fieldset on the user account page had also gone. So I had to uninstall.

If I get the time to debug, I will install again and report my findings.
