Right now you can set a global variable and *all* of the Twitter module interactions can go to laconica or identica, or whatever. Over in the Twittergator issue #385134: Rough plan of attack, sreiser suggested moving this to per-account, so that you could aggregate in all stuff from users across several different services. Seems reasonable to me.

yelvington commentedI like this idea.
Suggestion: Allow the admin to specify a list of domains that will be allowed/suggested; present the results as options to the user.

rob_connolly commentedThis would be brilliant, the current situation doesn't really work when you have users using different services.

eaton commentedThis will be part of Twitter module's 3.x release -- it would entail pretty severe changes to the schema and the codebase for the 2.x branch, unfortunately.

steinmb commentedI think this is somehow related to #737688: Identi.ca/Status.net support then we need to bring back identi.ca support for the 6.x-3.x branch.

damienmckennaI'm willing to review patches, but I don't plan on doing this myself. And yes, it would involve a bit of refactoring.
