User-added fields ALWAYS show up below default fields when displaying node

I've been using CCK for some time and this problem suddenly occurred. No idea what caused it.

User-added fields always show up below title and body when a node is displayed. Re-ordering affects user-added fields but no matter what I do title and body are always on top.

When editing, fields display in the right order. Only when displaying the node does the above happen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add fields to any content type
2. Re-order as required
3. Create and save new node of that content type
4. View node - fields in wrong order

Any solutions to this? It happened quite suddenly so I'm hoping there's a quick solution too...
