I installed the module go the FLV palyer, even installed required modules SWF api and Assets and XSPF playlist with all needed files. But how do I embed an external file hosted at a different server than mine and put it in the body of my custom content type. If there is a step by step tutorial please provide link. The Readme is also very unclear.

Okay, I'm going to risk sounding extremely presumptuous.... but if you're in the same boat that I was in for the past hour, I might have your solution.

Go to site configuration --> FLV Media player settings ---> Click on the profile you created to edit properties ---> Activate the display options (I turned them all on to get it working)
