I am creating a book page. I have the WYSISYG module installed. Any formatting options that I choose for the book page are ignored. I say any formatting option...but Bold is not ignored. I have tried to change the colour and the size of the text. It shows up on the 'Edit' page but when I go to view the page, the text formatting has not taken place. Why is this?

Have you added the HTML tags you want the WISIWYG to insert to the input filter? Drupal will strip off everything that's not explicitly allowed there.

On your node (book page) adding page, click on "Input format", and select "Full HTML"

Yeah that has solved it. I cant believe that I missed something so simple. I really though that I had changed this. I do apologise
