taxonomy access and taxonomy browser

Apols to module maintainers as this may not be a bug in taxonomy_access (or the patch to the taxonomy module) but possibly taxonomy browser - or just some incompatibility between the two. I've added a comment to an existing post in the taxonomy_browser

Please see http://drupal.org/node/36149 for further discussion - but this is about needing to have administer rights to taxonomy to be able to do taxonomy search and then finding that forums etc that were previously nicely hidden by taxonomy access becoming visible.

Also a plea to those that may think TAC is a bit of icing on the cake of taxonomy - imho if drupal is about "community plumbing" then the granulariy of access provided by TAC should be regarded as essential. Otherwise you have a bathroom where there's water flowing out of all the appliances or none.
