this release mainly a bugfix to remove a debug message left in there

Includes http://drupal.org/node/365398 from jfxburns which updates support for the old 'xml' format - which was just not working in some cases.
But also contains a lot of internal smoothing and support for remote services.
A fix for a problem thaat was causing the active vocabulary to get forgotten partially during batch imports.
