Overrules book breadcrumbs

Description
An install of tax-cont 5.x-2.x-dev took care of ALL the book breadcrumbs across my whole site.
Previously, tax-cont only had breadcrumbs on taxonomy terms, not on book nodes. Book nodes come with their own breadcrumbs ... which are more important than taxonomy breadcrumbs, on book nodes.
Can this be set anywhere, and if so, can it be turned off?
