are freetagging 'related' enhancements in the works?
Let me start by saying I love tags. Specifically, I love awTags. It's easy to use and gives great "related" blocks.
However, after looking through the code with the form updater module, it seems that upgrading awTags to 4.7 is going to be, well, a bitch. There were a couple dozen form api changes that need to be made, and that's not counting the other upgrade changes. Right now I'm not up to upgrading it, and I'm not sure if AutoWitch is going to, either. (Fingers crossed, though.)
So today I checked out the freetagging option in drupal cvs. It seems to work well, but it's lacking in the "related" blocks department. Are there any plans to get this working? Any ideas how?
(And I checked out the tagadelic module for 4.6. I hated how it just added a bunch of links to my navigation menu without asking me, and there are no configuration options for it.)

use menu module
if you use any module that adds menus you do not like, you can disable them in your mennu admin
Also, the 4.6 is a bit a hackis port. Tagadelic really needs 4.7, but since that takes ages to release, I decided to hack it and backport it.
Oh, and thank you for your issue / report with a patch to make the menus MENU_SUGGESTED_ITEM [/cyncial voice]
